I am always amazed by all this lovely new products available on the market. I wish to be able to buy them all but unfortunately sometimes I can afford it.
I usually have plenty of healthy and yummy super foods at home. This is why i decided to create my own breakfast blend, full of goodies.
This is my version of a delicious blend of super seeds,nuts and berries beautifully flavoured with concentrated superfood powders.
2 tbsp Coconut - fiber bulks up your food, contains iron, healthy fats
2 tbsp Goji beries- antioxidants, Vitamin A, loaded with beta-carotene (a pigment found in plants and fruits) which helps promote healthy skin
2 tbsp Pumpkin seeds - hight in magnesium, zinc, omega-3 fats,fibre, antioxidants
2 tbsp Flax seeds - fibre, omega-3 fatty acid, low in carbohydrates, It is perhaps our best source of lignans, which convert in our intestines to substances that tend to balance female hormones
1 tbsp Maca powder Organic Burst - rich in vitamin B vitamins, C, and E. It provides plenty of calcium, zinc, iron, magnesium, phosphorous and amino acids
handful of Walnuts- contain the amino acid l-arginine, which offers multiple vascular benefits to people with heart disease, plant-based omega-3 fat alpha-linolenic acid, antioxidants, vitamin E, folate, melatonin, omega-3 fats
Mix all ingredients in food processor and enjoy it with your oatmeals, smoothies, desserts and even salads.
